About the Journal
[sic] is a refereed and biannual journal on Literature and Art, edited by the Association of Literature Teachers of Uruguay. Unprinted and original articles with research results in the field of Literary Studies, the teaching of Literature and general Art are published to contribute to knowledge and training in the Humanities.
Revista [sic] only receives works related to its open calls for papers. We invite all interested researchers to consult the calls available right now in the Announcements section and participate in one of the sections of the journal.
From 2026 onwards, the journal will adopt a continuous publication system. Issues will be updated progressively throughout the year as new submissions are accepted. We invite you to regularly visit the journal's website to stay informed about the addition of articles and reviews.

A cien años de su nacimiento, la revista [sic] dedica un homenaje al crítico y escritor uruguayo Ángel Rama. Este número, coordinado por el Dr. Óscar Brando, intenta aportar nuevos acercamientos a su vasta obra, reparando en todas sus facetas: la del intelectual, el crítico, el profesor, el narrador. De esa manera, se confirma su vigencia y su legado.
