Abstract

This article contains a pedagogical proposal designed to ensure that the secondary education student becomes
interested in reading classical texts. Starting with the lyrics of a love song, it goes into the myth of Orpheus and proposes associations with other texts; thus authors such as Sappho, Sophocles, Plato and Marguerite Yourcenar dialogue with each other and with the artistic expressions that shape the teenager’s cultural environment.
