Abstract

This paper presents different reflections on the usefulness of teaching literature in the 21st century, taking into account traditional positions and Vigotsky’s theory. This author relates psychology and linguistics in an attempt to harmonize the requirements of today’s individuals with those of society and culture. The personal approach is based on formation and experience in teaching language and literature in different educational environments.
