Dream of awake imagination

Abstract

This article intends to study and spread the multidisciplinary project
by poet Luis Bravo. On this occasion he establishes a dialogue between
photography and poetry. The visual material is a testimony of his visits
to Isfahán to attend the Primer Congreso de Literatura Latinoamericana in Teherán, from May 26 to June 1, 2007.
This visits allows the interweaving of images and poems under Visiones de Isfahán and the present article published in electronic journals.
As a starting point of this study the focus is placed on eastern motifs of the poems as informed by Bachelard’s phenomenology. Sufi philosophy is also considered to illuminate the mystic universe. This latter and the encompassing poetic coverage by María Zambrano, both, enable an approach to its knowledge.
