Abstract

This essay analyzes how early works by Chilean author Alberto Fuguet represent its fascination with teenage bodies through discourse saturated with English expressions. The purpose of my critical intervention is to demonstrate a secret code of enunciation operating through this English lexicon. This code allows Fuguet’s main characters to express queer affections prohibited in the limits of the Spanish Language.
