Author Guidelines

Guidelines for Submitting Articles

The journal [sic] publishes original research, scientific communication or creative papers.
Articles must be unpublished, although those that have had restricted circulation will be accepted.
The ideas expressed in the articles are the full responsibility of the author.
Works are published in Spanish, English and Portuguese. As for other languages, the magazine reserves its consideration; If accepted, the translation conditions will be agreed upon with the author.
Articles must be sent through this website: revistasic.uy
Articles must include at the beginning of the textual body:

If the images have credits, their title and the author's name must be included or specify if they belong to the author's personal archive.

The papers are evaluated by two readers through the blind-peer-review modality. Thus, the anonymity of the authors, as well as the editors, is maintained during the selection of the works to be published. The Committee can approve, accept with corrections or reject the articles.
The Editorial Board corrects the articles, consulting the authors only in case of content modification.
Except in exceptional cases, publications are not remunerated.
Once the works are presented, the Editorial Board reserves the rights until the moment of publication. If the articles are not selected, there is no obligation for the journal to refund them.
