Historia, poesía y memoria en "La Viajera" de Sebastián Rivero

Abstract

The present article attempts to analyze poet, History teacher,
and historian Sebastián Rivero’s insurgent and original work through
the study of the relation among history, poetry and memory in La
Viajera, regarded as an epic poem by his own author. Furthermore, we
attempt to shed light on the view of history the writer depicts on his
poetry book, reckoned as a calling into question and parody of the
official historiography.
