Antropoceno: concepto global, metáfora local

Hace dos décadas, la noción de antropoceno comenzó a consolidarse en el contexto de las ciencias de la Tierra, biológicas y ambientales, y, al mismo tiempo, tuvo amplia aceptación en las artes y las humanidades. Ya sea como concepto o como metáfora, el antropoceno representa un paradigma determinante para pensar la actual situación de crisis socioambiental planetaria. Así, el término se ha convertido en motivo o tema de obras de arte y diversas manifestaciones culturales de carácter ambiental y ecológico. En este ensayo, propongo algunos argumentos de una discusión metacrítica más extensa sobre este cambio conceptual en paralelo con los acontecimientos recientes en Chile.
